Trotters Lake

Trotters is the middle pool and is the most popular of the three, as it suits a variety of methods from pole to running line. The pool is about 2 acres in size and holds some 40 pegs and virtually all species of fish, including the odd low double figure carp, which seem to petrol the island in the day time, but feed openly during the later hours of the day. But don't be put off as the average pleasure nets on this pool could be anything from 50lb to 100lb plus with a variety of baits and methods scoring on there day. I personally will be fishing the Monday evening matches this summer, where winning weights are expected to top 70lb, now that's not bad for three hours fishing!!

Two nets are required on this pool one for carp and the other for small fish. Groundbait is allowed only during the winter months fed either through a feeder or a pole cup.

There are matches every other Saturday throughout the year and evening matches are every Monday night during the summer months.
