When I was first asked by Dave Hemmings to make this float in
2003 I thought it was a wind up.
But word is now getting about in the Essex area and more anglers are finding the benefits of this pattern, especially in winter when under-tows effect presentation.
With two patterns (Long Tip and Standard Tip) currently available, they should cover most hook baits and situations.
The Long tip pattern could even find it's way into the canal anglers armory as a chop-worm float, for those days when the wind puts a bad skim on the surface. The addition of the extra body at the base helps steady the float without the need to fish excessively heavy.
