The paste over the last few years has become one of the most deadliest methods of catching carp and with more and more anglers asking me to produce a self cocking pattern I've decided to introduce a complete range based on your ideas and using mainly popular body shapes from my carp range. Also included is a pattern for fishing shallow or in the margins (which I'm told is an excellent cat meat float). Also this range sees the introduction of hollow tips which for me is a first and with the wire glued inside the hollow tip, making these patterns very durable. Two types of wire is used for the stems 1.5mm. alloy for the hollow tips and 1mm. stainless for the cane tips. Some anglers are putting holes in the the base of the hollow tips and cutting the tip back a couple of mm. so as to allow the line to pass through the inside of the tip, this keeping line straight all the way to the hook (I'll put pictures up at a later date on cutting method). All patterns are made to sit in water at the base of the bristle with the weight of hook bait used to set the bristle.
