This pool is normally only fished by specimen anglers but is actually filled to the brim with small fish especially small Crusians, which are totally ignored. Moby is about 1/2 an acre in size and holds some 17 pegs with an island to fish against with running line as it is too far for the pole and to be honest I think you would struggle to land some of the carp on the pole in this pool as they run to 30lb plus. Night fishing is allowed on this pool but only by prior appointment.
Note: Thousands of the small fish in Gils pool actually came from here, as the pool is now some 10 years mature the fish do breed freely.
