This
fishery is well situated within a triangle of Leicester, Hinckley and
Lutterworth. The lake is set within the grounds of a hotel, pub and restaurant
and is actually on an island surrounded by the river Soar and it's backwater.
Car parking is right next to the lake, just a few steps from the waters edge.
This attractive stillwater holds a good head of mixed course species (including Carp to big 20's and Tench nudging double figures).
The lake can be fished all year round during daylight hour's.
Ideal for pole, waggler or feeder ('method'
not allowed) most pegs have features to fish to, including the main island. Carp
are not allowed in keepnets except in matches. No bollies, no floating baits and
no night fishing.
Breakfasts and drinks are available on site, and the accommodation rates are also very reasonable.
Match bookings can be taken for up to 40 pegs.
Hooks must be barbless.
